How chemotherapy affects healthy blood cells: uncovering hidden long-term risks
Aim of the project
This project aims to understand how chemotherapy affects our normal healthy blood cells in order to reduce the risk of clonal hematopoiesis (CH) and its possible future complications, including leukemia and heart disease, helping to develop safer treatments for cancer patients.
We are leading Spanish society’s efforts to reduce the impact of cancer and improve people’s lives.
