Uncovering how gut bacteria interact with microplastics in young cancer patients

Aim of the project
This project explores how gut bacteria in colorectal cancer patients may help break down microplastics. By combining computer-based searches with lab experiments, we aim to reveal hidden links between environmental pollution and colorectal cancer in young people.
